Directions
Directions to the Forest Glen Annex can be found here.
Using public transportation, including the Metro, Washington's subway system is the best and most
efficient way to travel around the Metropolitan Washington region.
While the Forest Glen Annex is
located on the Red Line at the Takoma Metro Station, about eight blocks east of the Walter Reed installation and the Silver Spring Metro Station is about 1.2 miles north of Walter Reed, neither route is considered conducive to walking from the Metro to the conference facility. See Metro system map. Cabs are generally available and allowed to convey passengers to the conference site. Both Metro stations connect the area with downtown, suburban Maryland, northern Virginia, the Pentagon and Reagan National Airport.
At the main gate, you will be asked to show a valid, government-issued picture
identification. Guards will be able to direct you to the Inouye Auditorium.
