AIMS

As many of you know, AIMS was fortunate enough to have Dr. Jennifer Arnold, Medical Director of the Pediatric Simulation Center at Texas Children’s Newborn Center and Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, give the keynote address at our 8th Annual Conference this past March.

If you attended the conference you probably noticed the filming crew present during the three days. This was because not only is Dr. Arnold the director of a simulation center, she is also the star of the hit TLC show “The Little Couple.” The show follows the life of Dr. Arnold and her husband, Bill Klein – and their unique perspectives on life, love and marriage as people both under 4 feet tall.

The episode, “Dr. Arnold Goes to Washington” will be a great opportunity for conference participants to re-live their experiences. You might even see yourself on the big screen!

If you’ve never been to an AIMS Conference the show will be a peek into what AIMS is all about – from our advocacy training, to updates on legislation affecting healthcare simulation, to actual meetings with Members of Congress.

The program is scheduled to air on Tuesday, June 14th at 10:30 pm EDT on TLC. We hope you can tune-in to see some clips of the conference.
